Open Minded Organics (OMO) is a grower and processor of true minimally refined, Certified Organic, full spectrum hemp extracts. Founder & Formulary David Falkowski has worked relentlessly to create and present to you a portfolio of connoisseur grade, varietal specific extracts and unique efficacious blends.

Dave Falkowski, Owner Dave founded Open Minded Organics almost two decaxdes ago in 2003, starting in just one small greenhouse in his backyard growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. He would bring them around to all of the local farmers markets becoming somewhat of a local legend, and even earning himself the nickname The Mushroom Man. Since then he has grown OMO into a 3 greenhouse operation on a beautiful 10 acre farm. He is still growing those coveted mushrooms, but has also expanded into clean, naturally grown produce and certified organic hemp. Influenced by Paul Stamets, it is with extreme care and intention that Dave provides his community with a bountiful variety of clean foods and wellness products.

Ashley Falkowski, Owner Ashley is Dave’s partner in both life and business. She has helped to grow Open Minded Organics into the thriving and multi-faceted business it is today. In 2019 she opened OMO the Apothecary and has really enjoyed being able to provide Sag Harbor Village residents and visitors alike with unique wellness focused products.

Nicole Open Minded Organics
Nicole Calderone, Lab Manager Nicole joined Open Minded Organics in spring of 2017, just as we were planting our very first season of hemp! Her background in the biological and chemical sciences and certification as a clinical herbalist make her a huge asset to the OMO team. While she spent time out of state doing her studies, eastern Long Island has always been where she called home, and she’s passionate and excited about bringing high quality wellness products to this wonderful community.
